* a touch of random-ness*

my brain cells have frizzled out together with my sanity.. cyropreservation has tried its best to preserve whats left of it. I like my sunny days where I can thaw under the sun, alas.., the merciless rays get scorching hot all too soon and I slide back under the safety of the shade again, entertained by thoughts of skin cancer coupled with the graphic pictures on my notes.

Whenever Im not studying... my brain wanders.. many times I find comfort in the randomness of my thoughts that do not make quite a whole lot of sense whichever way I look at it. But thoughts that do not make much sense are strangly calming. Just like a child lying down in a green meadow under a blue sky going.."Daddy... see, if I read out my hands to the sky.. its like I can hold the fluffy clouds in my hands! *giggle*"

I wonder... .. . if I had cans of paints in a specturm of milky colours... and if i were to swirl them together gently.. would I get something as pretty as a paddle pop?

... the ants..what are they thinking as they hurry in and out of their burrows and as I flick an adventurous one of my leg?

...I was taking a walk today..trying to catch the last of the sun rays and failing miserably. But I did see the colours from a sunset. The pretty mix of yellow, pink and blue hues. So intricately blended together..an effect unachieveable by any artist's brushes. I walked him when it got too cold.... staring at the ground while I walked..i noticed a collection of pine cones in a variety of sizes. I glanced up. ooh.. pine trees! now why havent I noticed them before. They really are a representaion of authmn/winter arent they. Stiff and hard... they looked like that were made to represent the season. Shuffling along the grass, I looked for one of an adequate size to bring home. I found my chosen one..^^ so pretty. ..and *oww*... as delicate and pretty as it looks, the pine cones are armed with sharp thorns..that geefully took some of my epithelial *probably dead* cells. ...it looks delicate on the outside, but really hard and sturdy from the inside.

I like nature..and how it sometimes reminds us of ourselves... Stronger than u think I am..Cos Ive got Jesus and He's on my side. =)

~Happy Birthday Jade~! [050608]

...well, her birthday's on the 5th of June! But... we had a surprise dinner celebration for her last night at a korean bbq place at sunnybanks! yay! Like June would say.. "YUMYUM~..." Wally conned her there on a pretext of a '2days..into 6mths dating anniversary' aww... Dont worry Jade!! Im sure he'll make up for it! =D teeheee.. Happy Birthday, we love youuuu~!!!!

Birthday celebrations sure are fun... but this was ultra special.. cos of what Shunzy and I innovated the birthday cake into. Since we were expecting so many people.. we thought.. hey.. lets do a cupcake thing!! Itd be loads of fun..and easier to give out.. *knife free*. teehee. SO we made 4 batches.. 4 different flavoured cupcakes.. put them together with the candied letterings.. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JADE!"

The birthday girl and her man... with a presentation of the 'birthday cake'. The other cupcakes couldnt fit intot he tray. hahaa.. we brought 40++ of them last night. =) The flavours: Strawberry ricotta, vanilla white chocolate cheese, peanut butter jelly and chocolate mocha!

With the silver balls are the peanut better jelly! (by me) With the coco powder.. chocolate mocha! (by shunzy)

With the 3 butterflies in the middle, its ricotta strawberry! (by shunzy) The others are white chocolate cheese (by me)

I couldnt resist but do some closeups. haaha..1 cupcake, 2 deco! White chocolate cheese! =D =D

Baking was a marathon. But it was really fun. =) I wanna do it again sometime.. now if exams would fly by quickly... ... *gloom* teehee.
