*Girls bimbo day out!!*

Yesterday was official girls's bimbo day out! hhaha.. My feet still hurt with ALL the walking.. somebody plss remind me to wear flats when I intent to SHOP.. hahahaha..

Misson: To help Debbie get her basic makeup set! ^^

I'm proud to say that we accomplised our mission.. after walking around from 11am to 6plus pm? haha.. But it sure took alot out of our own pockets too..we evidently havent mastered the art of blanantly ignoring enticing and glittery makeup. well.. cept for Carol who satisfied herself by getting ONLY makeup remover. hahahaha. Well done girl! ^^

Trotting around acting bimboish and feeling horrified by ourselves (that we actually have a bimbo nature in us) is only fully justified when we saw a himbo group!!! And a bigger one at that. hahaa... They were sitting around a bench and leaning against a pillar resting their feet.. while we were doing the exact same thing say... 2 shops away from them! haha.

Our night was complete with dinner at New York, New York.. the funky resturant at Citylink that gives free flow of FREE candy floss!!! Sugar high is the best wrapup of the day. It was there that Heidi clinched the biggest performance of the day! Devouring half an 8inch by 8 inch burger..4 inches thick!! I'm still amazed Heidi...^^. But we could hardly touch the fries from the huge buger plate.. so then the guys were called in! Faiz.. Colin (self proclaimed Himbo) and Su (Faiz cousin). They just so happened to by jamming nearby. haha. That pretty much ended our Bimbo day.. with lingering side effects. hahaha

Fantastic day girls.. lets do it again sometime!! haha.. err.. when I get more spending money..O.o..

*So not a RED CNY~~~*

In contuary to what div wrote in her blog entry.. the new 'black' of the month is so NOT red! hehe.. not even with Vday and CNY being so near. not for me anyway!! *muses*.. in fact... i never wore a touch for red...yet! hahaa.. unless u count in red packets. :) For this year, Gold's in!! I threw the auspiciousity of red right outta the window. *grin*

CNY is infamous for its value of entertainment... NOT! I'm sure we all would unanimously agree... So when the boring comes in.. the girls go clicking!!.. on their camera! Introducing.. the Zebra!! *copyrighted by Pst Lau*

*sWeeT vAlEntInEs*

haha.. belated post. haha.. so what did i do this Valentines?? Spend it with my dear Rachel of course!! How says u need guys for Valentines? haha. And she always brings me new experiences.. like.. this year we went to TCC!.. at... wheelock place. I've never been t TCC before. ah now.. dont gag.. i REALLY havent.
Its a yummy place thou, with wonderful service..you can can sure I'll be back... WHEN I have money to splurge, that is. Here are some pics of my YUMMY food. :p

*Genting... are you ReAdYyYy???!!!*

3 days...2 nights..11 people...and a soft toy dog (mine). it's a experience i'll always hold dear. My first holiday trip out with my friends.. it was real good crazy fun! not leaving out..noisy too. hahaha. I got a chance t get to know and hang out with people I do not usually hang out with...and do more out of this world stuff with my close friends..haha. Imagine 3 roommates fighting for the toilet..to poop, no less... at the same time! haha. We managed to clear almost 4 roles of toilet paper in 3 days!!!! Then again, to justify this excessive use, toilet paper is also used much for general use like cleaning misted up mirrors... sneezing into.. and cleaning up anything that might be needed to clean up.

This is one trip I intensly enjoyed. Thou I only got lie a max of 2 hours sleep (inclusive of the bus ride trip) on the last day. Me bad.. I couldnt sleep.. kudos to starbucks. it rocks!! haha. try the caramel mochiato. It rocks! *woot* Shopping was impressive in Genting too.. esp at Hotel first world. where we stayed!!! It got Debbie, Heidi and I into spending mode! haha.

Theme park day was fantastic!! Always go on an off-peak season! haha. cons are that many rides are on maintanence. bummer. Still, i think we rocked the theme park. haha. With a large group of 11..and coining the phrase 'Are you ReAdYyYyy!!!' and waving to everybody below us while on roller coasters. haha.We throughly made full use of the available bumper cars...sitting in it at least 8 times!! It was crazy fun. haha.. I was still "bumping around" during dinner after the rides.. Its kinda like how you feel like you're still swaying after getting off a boat? yea..hardcore bumper cars! whee

*Ribbit*

Hmm..lemme explain my previous post... ignore the date on it.. it was not written today..nor is it complete. I wrote it on saturaday... blogger died on me..i couldnt post it, so i saved the entry, but subsequently i still couldnt post the whole entry.. so what you're reading is 3/4 quarters of it.. and its dated today cos i was still tryin to edit it.. but now i officially give up.

Good days and bad days..we all have them dont we. And i will not always be insanely and superficially crazily on cloud 9 all the time.. (^_^)

But i'm happy..exams are out!! yay..that means i've graduated from SP!! I've never felt such an intense sense of relief. ^^. Till i get to uni... i'm on a lookout for jobs!! hehe ^^ But that will wait till after tues!!.. I'm gonna go on a all friends trip to Genting!! wheee... No Parents! wahaha. roller coaster..here I come!! But as for what I'm doing now..it would be trying to sort my notes.. and wonderin what to do with them.. I FEEL like having a bonfire!! wahaha... my notes will finally come to some use then.. roasting marshmellows for me! ^^ BUT...somehow i have a nagging feeling my parents wont agree... sigghh *slumps down onto the ground pouting*

haha...ohoh.. there's this game that keeps me entertained duing the exam period..keeping my finges cramped..>.< but its fun!! hahaha... here are some screenshots!!

*Bugger...*

I miss blogging.. but there's never something really intersting in my routinely mundane life. YES... studying IS mundane *glares...dun argue with me*.. including exams. But, its gonna be all over soon. yay! My last paper is on tues, and I'm so not prepared for it. Its a scary paper.. and I pray that all will be fine.. I know it will, cos I got God on my side! whee...

yeah...life hasnt been fantastic... it hasnt been easy.. it hasnt been fun all the time. In fact, I seem to be hitting valley after valley...brick walls after brick walls... and the person I'm really up against is myself. " Lydia, why cant you be a faster learner?... why cant you play the piano properly?.. why cant u lose some weight?.. why are you so afraid of saying whats on your mind?.. why why why???" And WHY? why cant i seem to be who I really am inside... thinks i know I want to do.. the way I would want to react.. but I dont. The Lydia outside always takes over! Why cant I say something in my heart without analysing what the other party would think about it?? But I know I'm not perfect.. I'm not someone you can always be proud of... but I've come to learn that life is always a journey... and I know who's holding my hand. I pray, God, that You'll never every let go and I know that I'm gonna be just fine...

Pastor Jaymie said this when he was praying for me a few weeks ago.. 'you are at your lonliness in a crowded place'. and it just hit me... i couldnt stop the tears... I never thought of it that way before. I love my friends.. I do. very much. But as much as I do love them, the superficiality of most of my friendships are wearing me thin. I still rely so much on the joy of the Lord.. my strength in time of... tears.. ^^
Someone just told me this yesterday" Why are you doing this for her? do you think she will do the same if she was in your position?"... but you know.. it doesnt matter.. it doesnt matter to me if the person who reprocriate the same way.. i dont expect that of her, and that thought didnt enter my mind. I will always be there for a good friend. period. There is no shortage of friends in times of rejoicing.. i need not be in that group..... ....

I’ve got a major paper coming up on tues… and I have no idea what I’m gonna do.. its tough.. I cant seem to finish studying.. and I’ve got no room for failure..or I’ll never hear the end of it from my mom. Sigh. What is enough? It never is..never will be. Ja… I’m off to study..
