*pInk Haze..*

A haze makes you lost..very lost as you wander about in it. Pink makes it beautiful. Beautiful disguises... I'm still wandering entralled.. .. .. ....

It's been a busy busy week..but it its own unique way..its been interesting interesting. Another 4 day school week. whee..I AM soo excited. ha ha. We had a dance mini performance in school this week on wed and thurs. And rehersals before that made me even busier as I run on my already busy schedule... And the most disgustig thing is the rolling on the much stepped on common floor. I dont even wanna THNIK abt what could be happily growing on the floor...and the smell only served to digust me further..>.<

Hmm, on the topic od school. I had quite an interesting and satisfying bioprocess practical on tues. One part of what we had to do that day was to run an agrose gel analysis on the plamid DNA we isolated 2 weeks before. We had like 8 small groups in class.. The interesting part was that we had a weird loading buffer that couldnt seem to add enough weight to our DNA...it refused to stay in the well when we laoded it in..so we had to resort to loading it into the well dry before adding buffer. ha ha. The satisfying thing was that for some unforeseen reason..only 1 group out of the 8 managed to achieve a nice plasmid DNA band. The others only had a band for chromosomal DNA. And I'm the group that got it!! whee..!! *jumps around* I dont really know what I did well..but...whee...satisfcation..ha ha. We also attempted a shake flask culture to get recombinant protein with an active gene expression for Green Flourscent Protein (GFP). That proved highly effective too. hehe. lemme show you a pic. hehe. The one one the right is expressing the fluorescence. :)

I'm feeling quite proud of myself..i finally got round to getting my eyebrows shaped! hehe.last night.... ... Hollywood secrets' apparently quite good. And it wasnt a traumatic experience cos it didnt hurt as much as I though it would. hehe. yAy.Hmm..perhaps I AM becoming quite the 'xiao jie' O.o. ha ha... I was so happy to be able to go out with dear Jac last night..lala. Quite a funny night out... jumpstarted by lots of rushing around...*grinz* Not that I minded abit. it was fun! hehe. And we managed to walk around Orchard..effectively relieve our childhood...and I found Monokuro Boo! That..apparently is the name of this pair of black and white pigs I have recently gone gaga over. ha ha. Cos they're so cute!! hehehee.... there...hehe...Jac was so oblidging..'If you cant beat them,join them'? I think so too! wheee

Had a loong day too..thou it being a public holiday. hehe. Cos it was the day we came togther to do stuff for the fund raising for us to go for the mission trip to Cebu in June! Very exciting... but it was a mad cookie baking day and test tube deco. lalal..very funky..but we were all 'stoned' out by the end of the day. hehe. It was worth it thou~~ relaly really fun. And we did have a lot of orders to fulfill. Thank you for your support! hehe. Do support car washing day next sun~~ hehe.

Hmm..i guess I really do need to catch the Z monster now..it keeps evading me...lalala
