*~dIaRy of kiTty who loVes eGgs~*

mEoW~ wElcOme to my world... ...

Sunrays that shimmer as they embrace the sky...water droplets that glisten as they arce through the air, snow flakes that melt gently on the tip of your nose. Caterpillars as they writh and struggle through their cocoon to emerge as one of nature's most inquisite handicraft- the bUtTerFlY. Sometimes... all we can do it to stand in awe and quietly admire the gentle beauty of nature and feel the calm it brings in a harsh and fast-paced world.

ahh well, the days seem to fly by all too quickly and tests are falling hard and mercilessly. ouch. And sleep seems to have mastered the art of evading me. yawn~ Like today! argh. Firstly, it took awhole lot of effort to drag myself off the bed this morning. My body felt as if it were rooted to the bed and my eyes were intent on gluing themselves shut to the light of the day. I was sooo tired. But drag myself to school I did. Only to find my entire class and I sitting in a scheduled bioprocess engineering practical for a long time. The teacher stood us up. aRgH. I feel cheated of the sleep I could have gotten. But oh well. I WAS up already. hehe.

we went for breakfast...I headed for my shot of caffine (regular kpoi) and 2 soft boiled eggs. The eggs were kinda weird..they either came too cooked for not much cooked at all~ I'm glad I'm on the overcooked end. ha ha. And me being me..who love to eat too much..I gave in to the temptation of yummy warm egg prata in the morning..so I had that too. And that's 3 eggs in a day! lalala..i LoVe mY eGgs! *grin* That probably contributed to the fact that I didnt have lunch later on. ha ha.

lalala. car washing on sun was really good and VeRy tiring >.<. But i would say it had been a sucessful fund raising. whee..onward to Cebu for mision trip! hehe. Satisfaction really comes when you labour to raise funds for something u really wanna do. I thank God for giving me the chance to go over there and love the people.. ... oh ya..I rebonded my hair on sun too! ha haha... here's a pic...it doesnt look very straight..but hey..use abIt of imagination.just aBit..u know..abit~ *grin*

~*tHat aChy bReaKy fEelIng*~

Ooh...I AM aching all over from my weekly dance class in school yesterday...It was a really good workout thou...I hope i get some muscles to compensate for my pain..hahaha. *right.. -_-'''* For now...the squat toilet bowl is not really in my league..>.<

I'm sooo pleased tha I got to eat sushi buffet today at Sakae sushi at Suntec! whee.... it was a pleasant surprise that I ended lab early and my mom and sis had decided to go for sushi!! Finally...!! I get to satisfy my craving for everything soft shell crab in sushi!!! whee... I simply sat there and ate and ate and ate and ate... until my tummy started protesting. hahaha. Dont worry Earie dear..I'll still eat with u!! ha ha.
My sis was quite amazed at how much I could fit into my digestive system...and mainly softshell crab stuff. ha ha ha. Thank God for soft shell crab! whee

*pInk Haze..*

A haze makes you lost..very lost as you wander about in it. Pink makes it beautiful. Beautiful disguises... I'm still wandering entralled.. .. .. ....

It's been a busy busy week..but it its own unique way..its been interesting interesting. Another 4 day school week. whee..I AM soo excited. ha ha. We had a dance mini performance in school this week on wed and thurs. And rehersals before that made me even busier as I run on my already busy schedule... And the most disgustig thing is the rolling on the much stepped on common floor. I dont even wanna THNIK abt what could be happily growing on the floor...and the smell only served to digust me further..>.<

Hmm, on the topic od school. I had quite an interesting and satisfying bioprocess practical on tues. One part of what we had to do that day was to run an agrose gel analysis on the plamid DNA we isolated 2 weeks before. We had like 8 small groups in class.. The interesting part was that we had a weird loading buffer that couldnt seem to add enough weight to our DNA...it refused to stay in the well when we laoded it in..so we had to resort to loading it into the well dry before adding buffer. ha ha. The satisfying thing was that for some unforeseen reason..only 1 group out of the 8 managed to achieve a nice plasmid DNA band. The others only had a band for chromosomal DNA. And I'm the group that got it!! whee..!! *jumps around* I dont really know what I did well..but...whee...satisfcation..ha ha. We also attempted a shake flask culture to get recombinant protein with an active gene expression for Green Flourscent Protein (GFP). That proved highly effective too. hehe. lemme show you a pic. hehe. The one one the right is expressing the fluorescence. :)

I'm feeling quite proud of myself..i finally got round to getting my eyebrows shaped! hehe.last night.... ... Hollywood secrets' apparently quite good. And it wasnt a traumatic experience cos it didnt hurt as much as I though it would. hehe. yAy.Hmm..perhaps I AM becoming quite the 'xiao jie' O.o. ha ha... I was so happy to be able to go out with dear Jac last night..lala. Quite a funny night out... jumpstarted by lots of rushing around...*grinz* Not that I minded abit. it was fun! hehe. And we managed to walk around Orchard..effectively relieve our childhood...and I found Monokuro Boo! That..apparently is the name of this pair of black and white pigs I have recently gone gaga over. ha ha. Cos they're so cute!! hehehee.... there...hehe...Jac was so oblidging..'If you cant beat them,join them'? I think so too! wheee

Had a loong day too..thou it being a public holiday. hehe. Cos it was the day we came togther to do stuff for the fund raising for us to go for the mission trip to Cebu in June! Very exciting... but it was a mad cookie baking day and test tube deco. lalal..very funky..but we were all 'stoned' out by the end of the day. hehe. It was worth it thou~~ relaly really fun. And we did have a lot of orders to fulfill. Thank you for your support! hehe. Do support car washing day next sun~~ hehe.

Hmm..i guess I really do need to catch the Z monster now..it keeps evading me...lalala

~Insecurities~

You know the squeeze you feel around your heart when you talk in a group and get hurt unintentionally? You push the feeling away but it comes back anyway? When somebody says things as a passing comment and inside you you're thinking "Is that what they really think of me?" It hurts.

It hurts to talk about something and pretend it means nothing to you..when it does. It hurts to be slammed for liking a person..it is wrong? I know I cant measure up. I dont exactly like the way I look in the mirror either. But it hurts cos sometimes you cant help it...dont hate me for it..sigh.

I guess, deep within us, we all crave to be loved, to belong. To be TOLD that you are loved...cos there is a difference between knowing and being told. I wonder about my bout of insercurities today... but i know they will not last....cos I've got a God who patches me up often with His love...and dear God..I guess i do need that tonight.

I rest my case...

*PiNk FlYiNg bUnNy*

A crazy title I presented for this year's school dance concert...ha ha..but i still think it's kinda artistic...it lets chorographers play around with the theme and provides a space for audience imagination. Quite funky..quite..mOdeRn? hehe.

Developed a new theory in support of Crocs for street soccer on saturday. It was mystery saturday, something our church youth organises every 5th saturday on the month to play games. Last sat was titled' Understanding the opposite sex' where guys had to play 5-stones and stitch while girls played arm wrestling and soccer! As expected,I did NOT excel in arm westling! >.< hahaha....bUt crocs..PiNk crocs (ya..i'm biased) worked wonders for soccer! ha ha. It's good to prevent sliding all over the place cos it's non-slip and it helped me to score 2 goals..long distance! ha ha. That plus, because of the soft material..it doesnt hurt to have somebody step on your fet by mistake. hehe. yaya.. praise the shoes..not the skill heh. bleah..i've just unintentionally edorsed crocs...>.<
anyways..pInK crocs rocks!! ha ha

Happy birthday to me Ah Kong!...yesterday..hehe. quite an extravagent dinner at a chinese resturant with annoying karaoke to which i refuse to sing. Full of oldies and superrrr old videos! *faints* quite a torture..but the food was good..so i guess it balanced out? ha ha. love the food..love the food..but i shant elaborate on it cos i'm supposed to be on a diet..>.<

ah yes..today's bowling day! the 3rd annunual bowling tournament of my church! And it so happens to be the most stressed out tournament of the 3 years. Its the years the pros come in! hehe. And my team didnt manage to win anything..quite a pity really cos the scores were always so close..>.< ha ha. But it was fun la..i had a good day! Personally quite pleased with my scores..lala. lets see it was 91, 113, 126, 122, 108. ya...haha..kk shant elaborate more...shall crap tmr! hehe...got to get to bed..yawn..
